Windwood Warriors Swim Team

No swim team experience necessary! Ages range from 4-18. As safety is always out first priority there is a Swim Ability Test. Warrior swimmers must be members of Windwood Swim & Tennis Club.

Swimmers practice 5 days a week, but as this is summer we understand that swimmers may miss practice due to vacations and summer camps. Parents are required to volunteer 4-5 times during the season.  There are many jobs that can be done: timers, concession worker, ribbons, etc…

We typically have 6 scheduled meets, 3 are at home and 3 away, depending on the number of teams in the Division. Meets are generally on Tuesday evenings, with warm ups starting at 5:00 or 5:30 pm, and meets finishing by around 9:30 pm. The away meets are within a 30 minute drive. We also swim at the Rolling Hills Invitational schedule in June. There are four sessions based upon age on Friday. The finals take place on Saturday and participation is based on preliminary times earned Friday. Tri-County Championships are scheduled for mid to late July. All swimmers are required to attend. The Windwood Warriors are currently in Division 2.
