Sell A Membership

If and when the time comes to sell your Windwood Bond, for whatever reason, there are several options:

1. Contact the Membership chair to add your name to the Sell List 
2. Sell your membership directly to a buyer on your own, bypassing the Sell List 
3. Include your membership in the sale of your home 
4. Surrender your bond, forfeiting your $1200

1. Send an email to windwoodmembership@yahoo.com and include the following information:
   1. Name
   2. Address
   3. Current phone number
   4. Email address
   5. Bond number
2. You will receive an email confirmation that your name as been added to the sell list.
3. When the Club has a purchaser for your bond, you will be notified and a response will be expected in a timely manner.
4. You must be current on your dues in order to be eligible to sell your bond
5. If you agree to sell when your turn comes up, you will need to send the following items to the membership chair: (please email windwoodmembership@yahoo.com for instructions on where to send the following information)
   1. Signed bond (must be signed by all persons listed on the bond)
   2. Tennis keys or $5 replacement fee
   3. Pool passes for all members listed on your bond
6. If you opt not to sell when your turn comes up, you will be moved to the bottom of the sell list.
7. In the event you do not have your original bond, you must complete the Lost Bond Form. This form must be notarized.
8. Please make sure the club has your current contact information. When the sale of your bond is complete the $1,200 bond fee will be mailed to you.

1. You are allowed to find your own buyer for your bond.
2. The Club requires proof that a transaction of $1,200 for the cost of the bond occurred between the seller and purchaser before the bond will be transferred. This can be accomplished by providing a copy of the cashed check.
3. It is the sellers responsibility to alert the Membership Chair of the sale and provide the purchasers name and phone number.
4. The seller will need to send the following items to the membership chair:
   1. Signed bond (must be signed by all persons listed on the bond)
   2. Tennis keys or $5 replacement fee
   3. Pool passes for all members listed on your bond
   4. Name and phone number of person buying your bond
   5. Copy of the cancelled check as proof of purchase
5. The purchaser will need to send the following information to the membership officer:
   1. Names, if under 18 ages and birthdates (month/day/year)
   2. Address
   3. Phone Number
   4. Email address
   5. Name of person whose bond your purchased

1. The buyer and purchaser must sign an addendum stating that the Windwood Swim & Tennis Club bond was sold for a value of $1,200 and the new owners are now responsible for the yearly dues.
2. It is the sellers responsibility to alert the membership officer of the sale and provide name and phone number of the purchaser.
3. The seller will need to send the following items to the membership officer:
   1. Signed bond (must be signed by all persons listed on the bond)
   2. Tennis keys or $5 replacement fee
   3. Pool passes for all members listed on your bond
   4. Addendum signed by both purchaser and seller
   5. Name and phone number of purchaser
4. The purchaser will need to send the following information to the membership officer:
   1. Names, if under 18 ages and birthdates (month/day/year)
   2. Address
   3. Phone Number
   4. Email address
5. Dues can be prorated according to the time of the sale during the summer.
6. Please contact windwoodmembership@yahoo.com for instructions about where to send the information listed above.
7. Windwood Swim and Tennis club cannot process a sale without both the signed bond and the addendum.
8. You will need your passes to gain entry to the pool, and it may take up to 3 weeks to process your sale.

1. Annual dues are required to be paid by April 1 to avoid late fees.
2. If you don’t pay your annual dues by October 31, Windwood Swim & Tennis club will take over ownership of your bond, and you will forfeit the $1,200 bond fee to the club.
